Default Torque converter dosent fit into manual crank

Both series 2 engines but the troque converter shaft is to big to fit into the crankshaft.

And yes i am converting from manual to auto because i converted my auto to manual and want to get the donor car doing burnouts.

    Any help you be appreciated.

    Thanks, Jonathan

remove the brass bush (spigot bush) and it will fit you may need to smash it out if its tight

Is it only S1 engines that differ between the manual and Auto? When I changed my VN from Manual to Auto (S1) I was told I had to change the motor at the same time as the crank is not the same.

Got me a new spigot bush

My gearbox is almost out again, just having a break at the moment

and got the spigot bush out of the other car and torque converter and flex plate are on now

and without the spigot bush in my car my clutch will blow up in no time as well, glad i found out about the spigot bush though even though I am a bit annoyed i gotta take the gearbox out again

Thanks to you guys anyway, youve saved me a bit of money if my clutch or gearbox went
