You can buy a steering wheel puller from most auto stores for under $20.00

I have previously brought 2 pulleys for my stock steering wheel but they have both bent on the stock steering wheel from my car, with the boss kit the fittings for the puller wont go onto the boss kit the after market steering wheel if that makes sence

Another way is to undo the centre bolt till it is flush with the tread on the shaft, put your knees either side if the wheel and hit the nut with a hammer , (being careful not to damage the thread ) while pushing up with your knees .

there are 'boss kit' pullers available too, they are like a claw, designed for boss kits rather than the standard wheel ones which are just a bar.

when i pulled out my boss kit i used a steering wheel puller with the right size bolts (from a hardware store) (M6 or something) and a big washer on each bolt then pulled it like you normally would with the puller
