Just wondered if anyone has put a back rear seat out of a vr in their vn because I tried to do it and I realise that I have to drill 4 holes to mount the centre pull down seat bracket to the floorpan but the metal it sits against isnt flat...do you have to space it away with washers etc from the floor pan to get it to work?

PM airstrike, he fitted a VT seat with the same issue, pretty sure he just drilled them in.
The VP's luckly enough came with the holes already!
aZk.
Checked out a car at the wreckers and the floor pans have gussets in them on vns where you have to drill it ...a vr/s has that part flat but Is'pose that is only a bit of gentle tapping.
Another thing I found out....the bracket bolted with the u piece that the centre seat strikes against at the top is exactly the same as reinforcing bracket that the seat hinges screw to that is welded to the pan ....right down to the distance between holes and captured nuts....get 2 from the wreckers and cut off the u piece and it will fit perfectly after you drill the holes for the hinge bolts in the floor.
