It's on my list of things to do to the VP in the comming weeks as it barely turns over with the headlights on :P
Would this help get rid of static electricity as we get massive shocks when we get out of the car?
We have an earth strap, softener on the seats each month and don't wear polyester clothes...
One other point to earth.. Is the radiator to the negative battery terminal. To stop VN's chomping through water pumps, aluminium radiators and anything else alloy...

have seen this done on a ricer with before and after dyno runs, it made a little more torque although lost a little peak power funily enough. earthing systems are one of the places that the factory wiring has always been a letdown, especially on the earlier model commodores. i used 35mm2 welding flex to earth the 2 heads and battery + chassis. also used it for the starter motor feed and alt to battery feed also. no voltage drop there now

I have added an extra 16mm2 earth to the body and to the engine cant say if it helped or not but it sure beats it trying to earth through something pricey like the ecu
