Vr computer in VN

i got a VR v8 manual computer in my vn, running a VR tune aswell.. i cant get any high speed data outa it, ive made the high speed cable... do these VR computers need to be put into ALDL mode? if so which pins?

as far as i know these computers run a diferent bitrate than the 808's ask greenfoam as he knows his stuff when it ccomes to this..
