What diagnostics cable is this?

Hey guys i was gettin into the chip emulation/tuning and all that so i bought this from moates

APU1 AutoProm Package: USB Version [APU1] - $325.00 : Moates.Net

It looked awsome, the write ups were even better. But i went to plug the thing in and...its the wrong cable. Its the one in that picture and it doesnt even look like a VR one. The cable connects to the unit itself via an ethernet port.

Have i stuffed up really bad here n wasted my money or what?

I would say that would be the plug used on American cars. Might be possible to rewire it to the correct plug but would probably be risky as you might blow up your computer if you wire it up wrong. Your best bet is probably seeing if you can get a refund.

it shouldve come with an adapter to suit, email Craig & ask him.
i have one of these for sale for $250... wish i had known.lol
