Strange Noise...

Hi all, after finally getting the power windows sort of fixed I have now noticed that at times the windows wont work. Theres a strange ticking sound coming from under the dash just before they decide to stop working then give it a couple of minutes "tick" again and they work??
It's ****in the missus off who in return is ****in me off!!!
Any ideas??

Sorry guys forgot to mention its a 92' VP commy!!!

Could be dry solder joints in the power window module. or a loose wire, in the connector. Drop the panel right under the steering wheel, the power window module is the box mounted to the left. (takes up about a quarter of the space)

If your handy with a soldering iron you can resolder the joints yourself, if your not confident, get someone else to do it.
