Default VN cutting out prob (different)

Ive read alot of the help threads but I cant find a prob like mine exactly.

My car sometimes (quite reguarly) dies on me when driving, usually when im actually revving it at the time, mostly with higher revs..

Now it dies and I can always restart it instantly but it sometimes has a bit of trouble, The car also back/misfires sometimes making a loud noise.

THis has gone on for a while now and my mechanic has replaced the computer and other parts but it still happens, it almost never does it on my way to work in the morning when its cool (around 630am) but does it alot when im coming home at around 2-3pm.
Also the yellow engine sign comes on sometimes but doesnt seem to cause it and when it does die my battery and oil sign come up

I know this has been posted tonnes but none have been like this prob.
the car is driving me insane and gonna get me killed, I need any help please
    Thanks

Do you get any codes from the ECU?

When reving it - engine moves more. Sounds like a connector in the engine bay some where. Try closing all the pins to the DFI unit - the connectors in the plug can get loose.

The CAS can be the problem - but normally requires cooling before the car will fire up again. Yours firs up first try - so probably not it.

Also it can be the ECU plug not home in the socket properly - (long shot stuff)

It sounds like a loose connector of some sort - recheck your earth connections.

Good luck - its not easy finding the problem.

think you might be on the money there, if not possibly a faulty coilpack

Ok, well I have actually had the computer replaced and it still happened. When i first got the car it died and I was told cos its fuel injected u need to keep a decent ammount of fuel in the car or it was 'sucking up all this ****' and just dying according to my mechanic..

Question..if the computer has been replaced, could the cpu be faulty still cos he aint looked at the fault codes or w/e?

BTW my car can sometimes run for over a week at a time w/o a problem then boom it can die like 4 times in a 15km journey, ALWAYS dies on my gf for some reason and the car also stopped dying alot less when i kept like 70% fuel in at all stages.

The reason ive posted this crap is cos my mechanic is a family friend, doesnt charge much at all for anything but i also believe he doesnt really do that much so if i have a list of errors to fix the car he can hopefully do something, I just dont understand why it badly backfires and its also blown a mufflers of mine as well.
    any help is great thx
