Default hose of transmission or power steering

hi, guys, I changed my transmission hoses to and from the radiator last week but the one I used is power steering hose which I think is a bit soft comparing to the one for transmission. the guy in super cheap seemed to be an apprentice and said they are the same. is that alright or I have to change it back to the proper one?

it is amazing to have such quick response. yes, it might be the same, but mine is a bit soft comparing to the old one.

yeh over time the old hoses will become hard as the engin heat will deterioate them
