    Default fram airhog filter

hi, guys, is there any evidence that the fancy air filter is better than the paper one? I got a k and N for my mazda tribute (113 bucks), and planing to get a cheaper one for the vn v6. saw a fram airhog one for 60 bucks, sometime it comes with a free oil filter in the shop, what do you guys recon? the paper one is only 16 bucks.

i use the frahm airhog and i seem to think it breathes better then just the papper one, but even if theres not much difference, its reusable.. adding all the paper ones every few months, or buy one upfront?
