VN 1989 V8 long range fuel tank

internal fuel pump sounds like its blowing bubbles in the tank when you turn the key on,external pump is rattley and vibrating when engine is running.I guess that one of the pumps is on its way out as the car sputters up hill due to lack of fuel pressure.Local parts dealer is telling me crap,have i got 2 fuel pumps fitted to my vehicle or am i just seeing things,told him its a V8, long range fuel tank and he assures me it only has one internal low pressure for $189.00 sounds a bit expensive and wrong.help would be appreciated.

You have an internal and an external pump. I had this argument with a couple of people recently. A new internal fuelwiser pump will be around $87 and std external im not too sure of but around the $180 mark. Change the filter while your at it to.

I have a new fuelmiser in box part number FFH250A was told cannot use this internal need a FFH240A yet the 250 was for a VN SS V8 internal pump.can help or should i ring repco.
