vn auto diff in manual...

Hey guys sorry to keep asking questions but can you put an stock vn diff in a manual i know the auto is from a series 2. The only reason im asking is the person who wants to buy the diff thinks that it wont fit since its has a manual gearbox. I thought you could swap them straight over any help is appreciated thanks again guys.

the diffs are the same.... i think its the tailshafts that are different between the 2
