Just wonderin if anyone can help m out? as the title says my S1 coughs on take off speeds, its nothing big, it will probs do it once or twice a day, but it gets frustrating when im tryin to whind her out. its around 2 or 3 coughs then she gets up and goes as she usualy does. anyone had this problem? cheers.
Could be anything ... crap in the tank , blocked fuel filter , leaking fuel hose , leaking injector o rings , blocked injectors , air filter dirty/blocked , need new spark plugs , throttle body needs a good clean, Check if fuel pressure regulator is leaking fuel or hose loose or damaged also check over all the throttle body hoses as sometimes they come lose and cause hell of alot og probs.
1st thing id try is...
id be spraying some carbie cleaner into throttle body to clean it and change fuel filter and air filter & maybe run a bottle of nulon total system clean costs like $20. If that doesnt help then try other options i mentioned.
