    Default Car Respray

Just wondering if those who have had their VN resprayed in whatever colour, could you give me an idea of how much im looking at? Ive been told many different figures...

I am thinking of going a candy yellow..or a darker yellow, unsure.

Also, do they respray your door handles, window surrounds etc?

    Cheers

5k if your lucky and have a really straight body... and u gota think with a bright candy yellow its gonna fade alot quicker then a solid colour... and no they wont spray the window surronds and handles unless u tell them to

What about a respray in exactly the same colours? How much for that? Also is there different qualities of paint u can get, ones that hold the shine for longer?

probly looking at about 3g as long as theres not to much bodywork to fix..

most paints will keep there shine as long as u maintain them but bright coloured cars such as realy bright greens and so forth and alot of candys will loose alot of there colour and fade out over time in the sun.

Gunna paint my lads VN Exec shortly, in the same shade. All up the paint, thinners ,clear coat was around $400.I removed the door handles, window surrounds, bumpers & door trolley strips meself.Got my own comp, guns & gear.If u change exterior colours u'll have to paint the door jams, engine bay, boot & a whole lotta snot to make it look rite..

I got mine resprayed 10 years ago for $1000 as the metalic silver had faded like all the metalic colors do.

Just ring around and get free quotes but your looking at more $$$ if rust or dents have to be repaired.

If you car is in an accident of some sort and is getting panels repaired/resprayed at smash repair thats good time to ask for a respray as they already making money from you from insurance company so you will probably get good deal.
