    Default where to get a VP SS Fog lamp Lense?

    hey,

    not exactly sure how but one of my fog lamps got its lense smashed, given the ammount of highway driving i do i wouldnt be suprised if it was loose stones etc following trucks

    anyway the frames still intact, but where can i get my self another lense for these suckers? and how much do they cost

    check the for sale section, someone was getting rid of some not long ago.... cos its more than 10 years old too i doubt holden have continued stocking them

    holden still stock funny odd items, such as Live axel diff gaskets

    VP calais spats, trims etc, they're strange like that

    I think you'll have to buy the whole light. I have a spare one, but i'm not selling it, as i only payed $20 for it (broken bracket, but its the light i want)


    There was a guy on ebay who had about 8 sets of them, but i chose not to buy off of him as i figured they were all stolen to get that many of them.

    Can't help you with your light, however my old VL smashed a head light from loose stones and crap on the highways up here, so I went out and bought this clear stick on headlight protector stuff (from Autobarn I think it was).

    Its like contact, you cut it to shape and stick it over the lense. Its about 6mm thick, so it absorbs any impact that might otherwise damage your lights.

    I will do this to my SS soon, as those fog lights do seem pretty hard to come by.

    How about a swap meet?I saw a complete light like you want there a while back at a big meet...

    Ive seen just the lenses on ebay for some silly price & even whole ones for like $20 for a pair.

    sounds good, but u may aswell get a car condom because front bumper takes abuse from the same stuff, getting more and more paint flake each day.

    oh well im moving outta the bush in january and back to the suburbs to go work fulltime in my industry, ill just leave it for now, i know ill get defected for having 1 light lol and ill go *smash* to the other and say see officer? none are there u cant defect me lol
