Read many, many posts on here about the dreaded trolley strip removal ritual.I'm doing it atm on my son's VN Exec ready 4 respraying.If he had the Calais I wouldn't have even contemplated taking them off as they're usually almost bolted on with glue.His are bad enuf.If I wanted them to bloody stay on they'd keep coming off, as it goes...but
I just gently cut them off with a sharp box cutter knife & then trimmed up as much of the tape/glue as I could then got stuck into it with white spirits & sandpaper.

Removing them when you're repainting the doors is easy, coulda just used a caramel wheel too and been done in 20 minutes.
Its torture when you have to do it without touching the paint.
