    Default extractors

on the weekend if i get time ill be installing my extractors i bought a while back and i was wondering if i can use the gasket that the stock exhaust has, or if i even need any. how long would it take for me to remove old extractors and put on these new ones, its got the ones for each side and the bit which connects both of them and goes down to the cat, it said it was a direct replacement, so im hoping i have no issues.

I think they take about 1 - 3 hours to install, also what brand extractors have you got, cause i think HM you dont need gaskets though some other its recemmended you do ???

Gaskets to the block, I would buy some new ones mate, same with the other gaskets, nothing worse then doing the job only to find that the old gasket was rooted and now you have a leak. You will also need to buy some gasket glue to make it seal gooood. I did my whole exhaust on my old V6 VN and it took a little while getting the drivers side header on because of the steering rack etc, but im sure you'll get it done within a day.

The pain is waiting for things to cool down before you can play.
