V6 engine number

Did a search but couldn't find anything. A mate just asked me where to find the engine number on a V6....someone on here must know.

ull find it on the block to the right and a bit below the water pump, above the a/c pulley, u may need to move wiring out of the way, its hard to see.

as above, can be vary difficult to see, probably need to give it a little clean, maybe try going over it with a small wire brush to make it more readable

This is a close up of the engine number - but you can see the hose clamp.

Thx heaps for the help guys. Passed on all the info and he's found it now. He needed it coz he was getting a permit for a day coz his mate bought it and needed to drive it back to Adelaide.
