    Default nah....

A thicker pipe in theory would help, but not very much becasue althou the pipe is thicker, the air will bottle neck at the throttle body. If the CAI was bigger then the Vs superCharger then it made forced the air in fromthe pessure but i doubt it would be fesable to do it,
however for some quicke power geta K&N pod filer(round 80$ish). that will help a little bit..
could also go exhuast set up... loads for things, search the forum you will find it all.

Thanks mate but if i put a pod filter on then i cant put the box back ova it which means that hot air from the engine would also get into the pod? And do good leads and plugs make much of a diff?

They will make a slight difference ,if you know your car very well you will notice a differece. When i got performance leads and a pod i felt a difference, ive got a v8 but it should be the same in a 6.

    Default CAI + Pod

Just curious if anyone on this forum has both a Cold Air Intake with a Pod Filter.
I saw a pretty impressive looking setup in the Dec 04 issue of Street Commodore (page 157).
The car was a VT V6 that had the Pod Filter enclosed in a custom made box.
Has anyone else tried this sort of setup, and if so what sort of difference has it made.
