vp 5lt v8 auto slips gears when hot

my vp v8 slips gears when hot fine when cold can anyone tell me what it is gearbox or converter it also slips then grips like having a 3000 stally please help

Well before you drive it again change the oil and filter and if its slipping from 1st gear to 2nd get a corvettte servo in it, then hope for the best if there is no best you will need a rebuild in it
