    Default vn runs good for 20mins then starts cutting out?

    my vn wagon drives spot on for 20 minutes and then starts cutting out both driving and at idle just put in new fuel pump fuel pressure reg and harmonic balance any ideas please

    Something to do with closed and open circuit? Have you checked for any error codes by doing the diagnostic test?

    Possibly the DFI module.

    I had the same problems about a month and a half ago. Replaced heaps of stuff, turned out to be the module itself.

    tried the CAS yet? most common problems i've noticed where it starts fine cold but when hot fails to start or dies usually comes down to the CAS

    Very true, could be leads, plugs, coils, ECU, wiring loom for ECU plus a million and one other things.

    next time it cuts out, make sure your carrying a bottle of water, pour it behind the biggest pully on the motor (harmonic balancer) then if it starts strait away it's your crank angle sensor

    it is the cas have taken the harmomic balancer any ideas on how to get the studs off the sensor cover cant get them given me the ****s
