fuel breather hoses

hey does anyone know how they're meant to be arranged?
It's on a VN SS. all the hoses near the tank are ok just these ones are missing / broked. the metal pipe on the right is the fuel return i think, but it's not attached to anything?

Smell fuel much? My lines are looking pretty tired also, ill take a picture so you can join em up to the right spots. BRB.

can't smell fuel, i've only put fuel in it twice and haven't filled it up to the top before.

took the filler neck right out and i'm missing the barb that the return line hose pushes onto, can see where it snapped off. oh well off to the wreckers to get a new one.
