    Question immobiliser problem vp v6

    hi all,
and before i start, yes i have looked ALL around MANY MANY posts on this and nothing to what i could pickup that could fix my problem.

yesterday i was driving my car, parked it to have lunch, turned it off and left keys in (was at home in paddock). had lunch then got back into car, immobiliser turned back on as usual, turned key to on, pressed button several times and did not want to turn off the immobiliser. took keys out and tried to turn it off or to even lock the doors and would not work. its as if something has instantly stoped working. the remote still works as the light still flashes, the warning light and tone still come on, it can turn over but not start n stay running of cours because immobiliser is still on.

what would the problem be? i already checked for fuses under steering wheel and under the hood, cant find any labeling alarm system or immobiliser. i thort it would be a fuse or the reciever unit on the car. i really wanna be able to use central locking again and immobiliser. using the key in door will lock and unlock all doors, just the remote wont work if the security switch is turned on or off.

    any help appreciated

on some remotes there is an adjustable pot inside the remote for fine tuning it. sometimes you are able to re adjust it to make the remote work.
this is how my local alarm installer fixed mine on my old car.
