Ok, heres the story.. my car is a VN V6 (series 1 stock motor) with a changeover transmission and a 2.5" mandrell bent catback which is also 15,000km overdue for a service and has a misfire and the other car is a stock VY V6...
I absolutely CREAMED it in a straight run drag.. (yes, it was offroad).. now.. is this even possible on a stock series 1 motor? i assume its stock cause when i bought it, nothing was mentioned...

yes, VNSI is the fastest N/A V6 commdore before the SV6. Its in the lightest car holden have ever made (commodore) and you have a exhaust setup on it.... if you had have lost, i would have smacked your face in.
aZk.
vy v6's dont go anywhere. i drove a VY 'S' pack the other day and i didnt like it one bit. there was a slow power delivery. my vp on gas goes harder!

I have to agree, my VP used to beet other v6 vx, vy's etc with ease.
I now own a VZ, I have a feeling the VP would have beet that too initialy (up to 60), but once the VZ hits 3000rpm its much better. Definatly still miss the down low pick up of the vn/vp's.
