    Default 5 speed boxes

    is the 5 speed box for a vn series 1 v6 the same as any other v6 t5

    yes, but to fit one to a series 1 auto V6 you need a crank adapter because the series 1 manual and auto cranks were different lenghts from what iv been told.

    i just wanted to know if it'd suit my manual v6 vr as i need a new box
    are you positive its the same box?

    not sure on the bell housing but only difference was between the V6 and V8 boxes as they had different gear ratios.

    Input shaft are also different lengths. V6 boxes are all the same. Flywheels are different in series 1 compared to series 2 onwards

    i just wasnt sure if the gearbox was differnt from series one to series 2 i know the flywheels are different. and i know the v8 has different ratios and chunkier input shaft

    cheers for help, i just found a manual box form series one vn for sale and i now know it will fit my vr

    Wrong Mischa, the series 1 cranks are longer in the flange and bigger in diameter!

    V6 Crankshaft Info

    Look there for more info!

    To the original question, as it is says in the write up, all V6 T5's are the same!

    lol, sry, i new it was bigger in diameter. never seen both of them together tho.

    thanks now i just need a manual set up for my s2 motor i wanna put in my vn calias,glad i kept it.
