    Default oil warning lamp on and headlights on when braking

    hi just wondering if anyone can help
    I have a vp 1992 and i have to take in for a road worthy today yesterday we changed the oil and filter and my other half put 5liters instead of 4.1 in there was no probs until we took it to get an engine clean once finished oil waring light came on and wont go off so i got him to take out some oil he removed about 1 litre waring light still on.Also after the engine wash headlamps come on at braking only showing parkers just wondering if any one has any ideas

    Check to see if the electrical connection of the oil light is still plugged in, its above the oil filter on the engine block and its in a vertical position, can't miss it.

    Did you recently change some of your brake globes?

    So, from what I gather from this unpunctual sentence is that you had nothing wrong then you took it somewhere to get an engine clean, inside or out? Then when you picked it up you have electrical faults, seems to be the problem of the shop who did the clean...

    Thanks for your help. It looks like the electrical connection was a little bit loose or had moved a little, so a little fiddle and it was fixed. The lights on the other hand was the wrong globe, once I had a bit more time problems fixed. Thanks once again sorry about the bad sentence before was in a bit of a rush.
