    Default Cleaning Rims

I have a pair of rims on my vn, they are obviously quite old they look exactly like a pair of older holden rims so I wanna keep usin them
They look alright but they are dirty as from wear, age and oil.
Question is, do u guys know/have ever cleaned/had a pair of rims cleaned before? Washing the rims and then cleaning them with product seems to only take em so far and i was wondering if i would need them prof done with a high pressure cleaner or somethin and if i did what kind of results could i expect? im not expecting them to ever look completely new again but they look like **** atm lol, thx

Well if you've already gave them a good old scrub and they still look bad I suggest to get them repainted, will be like new then!.

Scrube them with your dish brush and some soap, give them a sand blast cover bolts the inside of the rim and any thing you dont want painted then give them 2 coats. it take about 20 minutes - drying time and it looks meky as when done paint is about $12 and it would take 2 cans at most. go to a sandblasting place and get one of the guys to give them a quick spray at the end of his shift for $10. every one needs gas money these days.
    SO it costs $30 nzd.

I have used eagle one tyre & rim cleaner, after what it did to my skin, Id do a test patch on your rims first to check! lol

But yeah its nasty ass stuff, but it brings them up so well! Works really well on dirty white walls

I cleaned them yesterday with a toothbrush hot water and kitten rim cleaning, the dirt build up was amazing and it took me 2 hours to clean all of them, but without taking the rims off 1 by 1 I cant clean behind it and my car is always being fkn used.
    Ill look into spraying them.
