I just bought this from the wreckers to use as a tranny cooler. It was located between the condenser and the radiator. Is this the best spot for it or should I try and put it in front of the condenser.I'm thinking at 100km/hr it wont make any difference at all.
Also I have a 1000kg caravan I will be towing on approx 2 to 3 hr trips. Is this tranny cooler smallish and should I utilise this as a p/s cooler and try and find a bigger tranny cooler.I have a auto v6 vp wagon.
Any advise much appreciated!
Cheers Rileyp

Looks around the same size as my transmission coolerJust make sure it's not full of crap that you're going to contaminate your transmission with.
Ummmm, should be fine in front of your condenser. That's where mine is. Or, if you can find a better place that doesn't interfere with your radiator flow at all, all the better. Experiment with what feels right. You can't really go wrong if you're smart about it
This is where mine is mounted. Ignore the cable ties, they have no relevance. My car is made out of those things

My intention is to connect up the flow side to my tranny and pump it into a container for a short while to flush it with my fluid then switch off and connect the return as the fluid in it was a bit off colour.
Is that a plan?
Do you have a power steering cooler?
looks like a nice little cooler run it with the stock one to just front mount it anywhere and it will work nicely, dont worry about p/s cooler
