Timing cover

Hi
i have just removed the timing cover from a commodore vn , to swap it over from my wreck , i had to remove the harmonic balencer to do this , now everything is all back together , the car is vibrating alot , and there is a sort of tapping sound , im thinking the harmonic balencer is causing this , any help would be good '

Sounds like you didn't put the timing belt on right.

you mean the timing chain, ??? the thing is , i didnt touch the timing chain,

Oh....I must of misread, I thought you changed chains...Hmmm, Crank angle sensor was disrupted or damaged in the process?
