There should be two bolts on each pulley. An adjusting bolt, and a pivot bolt. If you loosen them both, it should be possible to adjust the tension, reduce it, and slip the belt off.

    But don't quote me on that - I drive a 6

Yeah im currently about to change my belts over to gilmer drive.
I took a look at it the other night, on the alternator there is a pivot and an adjuster bolt, as morton said. Which will get that belt off... but not entirely sure about the other 2 belts, but i guess i will find out tonight when i have a go lol

haha, each component should have two bolts, just like the alternator. Pretty simple once you've done one.

hmm just attempted to disconnect my battery. seems the terminal thing decided it wants to be fused to the actual battery and i cant budge it. back in the shed the car goes for now lol.

have to attempt it another day when i have the time to disconnect the battery.

Boil the kettle and pour it over the terminals.

If ya still wanted to know.... to get the belts off to replace or tighten:
    1) The alternator has a tilt/adjust bolts on it, just loosen and then you can move the alternator to loosen the belt.

    2) Power steering pump, there is 3 bolts on the main bracket attaching that, loosen those and i think they all have adjusting rails on them to move it up and down to loosen then belt.

    3) The aircon belt is easy, there is an idler pulley in between the aircon pulley and the crank pulley, just loosen that nut off and you can adjust it.

    Hope that helps.

Ok well I thought i'd hi-jack this a little... I got all the belts off fine, the A/C didn't have a belt when i bought it.... Took me 25mins to figure out how to put the belt on it with the tensioner... Then the alternator one was pretty easy too just cant seem to get it tight enough... BUT!!!!!!!

The p/s belt, I cant get the pump to move far enough to get the belt on........... I'M CRACKING IT BADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

    any help??

Undid 2bolts on front & 1 bolt on back of pump up the top.

hozy.... the aircon one is easy, there is an idler pully in between the aircon and the crank pulleys, just loosen that off then tighten it when new belts on.

Alternator is easiest as you found out.

Power steering.... on the bracket on the back of it that holds the pump onto the main engine or whateva, there is 3 bolts, loosen them, and the whole pump with pivot and you can take old belt off put new one on, then pull tight and tighten the 3 bolts.
