if ur set on keepin urs your best bet is to find a wrecked V8 vp with good running gear and just basically transplant it over to ur good body probs still cheaper to buy a VP ss but yeah sounds like u wanna keep urs

A VP series 2 allready has the V8 brakes, all it's missing is the 1 inch master cylinder, ecu is the same, memcal is different. You can keep the V6 tank on the car so you don't have to mess with that or the pumps. Then you just need the motor/gearbox/kframe, engine loom (with the ignition module etc) and the radiator and V8 springs in the front and the cluster from a V8. That should be about it. Cheapest way out will to buy a crashed 5 litre for around the 2 grand mark if you can

foamie is correct. Easier to find a wreck a doesnt have to be a vp can be vn-vr and you'll might get a vn cheaper theres also alot of v8 motor trans loom and ecu on ebay going for a decent price i think anything under 2000 would be worth it depending on condition and what not.

cheerz for the info guys its helped me alot... if i do end up sellin it i'll be gettin a 5L vs statesmen, so for the brakes all i wud need is to change to a 1" master cylinder n its all good???, it does sound alot easier to buy a wreckd vn-vp n just swap everything over.. i'll ask my mechanic 2mw n see how much it'll cost me.. hopefully cheaper cause hes a family friend :P
