hi guys, im also wondering which places in south australia give away vn-vx v6 engines because im after a vn/vp buick or a vs ecotec thats tired to mess around with to see how it works. where can i get one that i dont have to pay for or only pay little for it

im in whyalla sa, i have a full vs ecotec motor done 100,000kms broke bottom skirt of piston, developed a rattle, no bore damage, has injectors, inlet, throttle body heads.. ect... ect.... u can have it for 150 bucks.

has crank angle sensor and harmonic balancer also.

lol id like to see if u can find a place that will just give u an engine... maybe better off just asking around ya mates or on the forum

Yeah you have very little chance of finding a free engine. It might be worth checking out the trading post they sometimes have some very cheap non working engines in there and ask all of your friends.

Also try the local mechanic, that may have a dead one out the back
