Ive had my car since new with oil changes every 5000km's etc and transmission service every 75,000km's but Ive never thought about the Diff which is bad on my part.I know how to change oil & coolant and filters and sparkplugs and hoses etc but the transmission I usually leave that to my mechanic.
the cars got 195,000km's on it & the car doesnt have a towbar which I was told if you tow alot its really bad for the diff anyhow Ive never really done any burnouts so I know the diff is ok.
Is there anything I should know before undoing the bolt etc ... Im thinking the bolt should be seized on there by now so is there anything I should know before attempting this?
a good friend whos a FORd man lmao has done it before and knows his stuff so it should be sweet but from you people who have done it before should I maybe leave it to a proper mechanic or what ?
thanks ..
