Hey Everyone.
I have found something i think is abit unusual about my series 1 engine.
I have a hole on the head in between 2 of the injectors on the left hand side. It doesn't look like it has been modified it looks like its been like that from factory. Im thinking a sensor has been removed or something, apart from that i would not have a clue.
Since its night i cant take pictures i will take some in the morning so i can try and figure out what goes/used to be there.
Cheers Sp4nKy
does it happen to be where the green circle is on this pic?
if so, its just because thats where one of the mounts go from the alternator on the other side, but seeing both heads are identical, its just a left over hole

yeah thats the hole, does it affect the engine anyway?
not that im aware of. should just be a threaded hole that goes nowhere. sometimes i think theres a threaded bung in it. will check mine tomorrow if i remember
well there seems to be a fairly identical hole on the other side of the intake manifold so im guessing no... its just a stupid series one thing..... lol....
aZk.
series 2 thing aswell, just the manifold is cast differently and covers it up![]()
are the runners in the s2 manifold longer on the left hand bank? or is that just the pic
13.3 1/4 exhaust only untuned!
