    Question Hole in head confused???

    Hey Everyone.

I have found something i think is abit unusual about my series 1 engine.

I have a hole on the head in between 2 of the injectors on the left hand side. It doesn't look like it has been modified it looks like its been like that from factory. Im thinking a sensor has been removed or something, apart from that i would not have a clue.

Since its night i cant take pictures i will take some in the morning so i can try and figure out what goes/used to be there.

    Cheers Sp4nKy

does it happen to be where the green circle is on this pic?

if so, its just because thats where one of the mounts go from the alternator on the other side, but seeing both heads are identical, its just a left over hole

No, but you're right! S1 motors have a number of silly complications to them. And Hakhawk... you REALLY need to spend less time analysing things like this. It's a bit sad that you had a picture of the two manifolds sitting around lol!
