Of course King Springs still do ultra lows.
Just because your mate said he heard some dude talking to the guy around the corner that once worked next door to a suspension place for a few weeks saying they don't make them doesn't mean they don't make them. Visit a specialist suspension store and ask for prices.
They may not refer to them as Ultralows - They're also known as Super Super Lows. SSL is the code I think.

wasnt there was someone on here the other day selling complete lowering suspension packages??
Is this what you are talking about: Commodore Lowering Kits!
Im good
But Ultra lows in Kings are still available, I've got them on the shelf now, $130 per pair, front or rear and shipping to Mildura Vic $22.

What are the part numbers? These are the part numbers for Ultralows:
78-93 COMMODORE SEDAN VB-VP ULTRA LOW
Front: KHFL-22SSL
Rear: KHPR-20SL
yer i have the lowest they are superlows but its not that low so i dont know what i will do

yes, fine, but do they match the product code that dylan (vn2nv) provided?
if they do, you can have springs reset to a lower setting if needs be...

ok, how about no one cuts any springs!!!!
ive only ever cut springs once, that was to get them out of some ****ED! struts so i could put them into the rear without dropping the control arms... needless to say the car was on its way to be crushed into a cube
SPRING + CUT = BAD.

So ima just hope that everyone else here has more sense than you... And more respect for their car, the safety of their passengers and everyone else that uses the road around them

Half the people on here, talk about springs cut, and probably don't even have any experience on the matter.
Once they have read it on a forum as some one else wrote it, they are instantly a expert on springs.
I have had numerous sets of springs (superlows, Ultra lows, compressed ultra lows etc). Cut springs don't differ much from other lowered springs, as long as there is still travel in the spring, and the spring itself is captive, no problem.
Don't cut your standard springs as they aren't as stiff as lowered springs, and are really **** when cut.
I have a cut pair of compressed ultras atm, and they are fine. The amount of money I have spent on springs trying to get the level I want is annoying, even when I had them compressed the springs werent compressed evenly!
Cutting them means they are the level you want.
I just tried it before I bought some custom springs, which were going to be over 300 for just the rears. I was happy with the result, so no need to spend 300 IMO.
Do you understand the concept of spring rate? The number of coils that are on a spring are there for a reason. Once you cut any coils off, the spring rate and compression ratio are changed detrimentally. Not only are the remaining coils under more strain, they do not have the required tension to absorb bumps correctly. I'm sure vehicle and suspension manufactures and engineers spend millions of dollars to come up with the correct and safe spring rates and compression ratios just to have someone with a backwards cap say, "these d*ckheads don't know sh*t, I'll cut 2 coils off....fully sick maaate".
like i said i cut new sl springs last time and it ****ed my car i had one fall out and get caught in my rim and the tailshaft rub though the metal under my car so i think i have had the bad exp that you say and cut springs are ****!!!!!Half the people on here, talk about springs cut, and probably don't even have any experience on the matter.
