they should be sikalfexed on, word of advice dont try it unless you know how to paint, some people use a caramel wheel to remove but heating the sikaflex up with the caramel wheel can and burn the paint/go through, or you could use wax and grease remove the sikaflex but will take a while

There will be no holes left but they are a pain in the arse to get off without removing any paint. When you are removing the strip itself (not the sikaflex 'glue') do not just rip the strip off, the best thing to do is heat the strip using boiling water or a heat gun and carefully peal the strip off or run a piece of fishing line between the strip and the door. Im not sure what the best way to remove the sikaflex strips (glue) on a VN or VP is because apparently you cannot use a caramel wheel on them because it will burn the paint or something like that

You mean like the stickers that are on the side, rear and front bumpers? As im looking to remove mine, i was told use Eucalyptis oil after i peel the sticker stripes off to get rid of the glue residue. Is that correct?

Yeah the Eucalyptis oil should remove the glue and if it doesn't some wax and grease remover defiantly will.

The standard black strips don't have that much sikaflex so they're not quite so hard.

The large Calais/Berlina/S/SS strips are the pain. Theres heaps on the back of those... See pic:

    Default Strips...

I took mine off last week, ended up taking some paint with them!!

Just paint them the same colour as the Car!! Much easier, and cheaper in the long run!!
