3000rpm for 10 second's
take out engine fuse for 5 minutes
im just intrested to know who rev's there car at 3000rpm for 10 second's or takes the fuse out for 5 minutes
ive done the fuse trick as i hadnt heard of the 3000rpm way
i dont really like the idea of revving a cold engine after youve worked on it

Where is the engine fuse, is that in the fuse box on the drivers side?
yeah ive heard of the 3000 rpm, ive tried it in my car but my car has no tacho i dont know exactly where 3k revs is so i doubt i changed anything
same here lmao the black fuse box near the battery it should have a diagram on top if not its a blue one front far right
1:warm up car
2:turn car off and remove fuse let it sit for 5 minutes
3tick fuse in start car WARNING DO NOT TOUCH GAS PEDAL!
4:idle for 4 minutes switch off snd restart the car
5: feel the diffrence and enjoy

You don't really reset the idle, you reset the TPS. Two ways you can reset the ECU, remove the main engine fuse for 10 seconds, or disconnect the positive battery lead for 10 seconds. Start the car and rev to 2000 rpm for 10 seconds, switch off car. TPS is reset.
ok thank's for that so even after you take out fuse/disconnect posi you still have to rev the car when starting it?

It needs to hit 2000 rpm for the ECU to know it isn't idling. This will reset the TPS to the correct voltage signals. VT onwards you don't need to relearn the idle, it resets every time you switch it off.
lol, yeah. I wanted to vote for both![]()
