stocko vn cassette stereo

i got the dash apart to pull out that dodgy stocko stereo and its being held at the bottom by 2 screws that are facing backwards.

i was too late to the shops to get some spanners that are small enough to undo them so is there another way to undo the screws tonight?

Do you have a small shifting spanner? Thats what i used to get mine out. Don't use a trolley pole like a mate of mine...

a trolley pole??? lol... nah i dont have shifter small enough so i guess i will just have to wait till 2moro

i'm serious, he couldn't get it out, so he bashed the s*** out of it. Was so funny, he bent all the metal frame it sits in. This also came from the same friend who thought the easiest way to keep seat covers on was to staple gun them to the actual seat.


Edit: Also if its a series two, don't forget the hidden bolt behind the stocko unit.

dont mean to highjack your thread mate but it migh help you if i can get answer
i put in my hu and its standard din size but there doesnt seem to be enough room behind and the hu stick out just a lil too far is there any option's?
ive thought lengthening the loom might help

theres another one behind it? it is a series 2, i helped another mate with his series one and he ended up drilling the screws out but ive got no drill bits so ill just get some small spanners
