    Default VN Door Seal Rubbers

Hey all, I just found a problem with my car, because of all this rain i've found out the hard way that ALL the door seal rubbers leak on my car.

I thought of reglueing it, but the glue i used was far to runny. Strong s*** though, needed a knife ot get my fingers apart.

Anyway it really didn't work, glue keep running down due to gravity. Is there a glue someone can recommend?

Or are door seal rubbers still available from holden?

    Thanks.

just goto a supercheap/auto one or whatever and ask for a tube or tin of upolstery contact adhesive..

its yellow stuff that is tacky and you smear it on both things you wanna glue in thin even amounts.. wait for it to dry and then press them together.. just make sure you press them together at the right place the first time.. if you bugger it you can pull the two appart straight away but it will wreck the glue and you'll prob have to clean all the glue off and start again..

a tip to think about is holding the seal up to where you want it before you put glue on and mark both surfaces where you'll be able to see when gluing(with sumthin that'll clean off later) so that when you move along the seal pressing it on you dont end up with a bunch up at the end or a stretched section!!

also be aware that it dusent come outta carpet like surfaces very easy at all..

Haha, i can see where its leaking when the water drips through when i'm driving. Or by the wet parts on all the seats...

wait. the rainwater on the seats for all those people with a dirty mind.

Rubber kits are still available through Holden but they are over $1000... And yes that is a 1 followed by 3 zero's!!!

Its like $134 just for a sill panel rubber... Like the same price as the actual sill panel. Its a joke.
