    Default Power steering pump pully

Yesterday i was driving up my street and my motor started sounding like it was falling apart. So i turned around and went back home, opened up the bonnet and noticed the sound was coming from the steering pully. I stopped the car, and one bolt was missing out of the pully, and the other 3 were really loose. Where can i buy another bolt from? I put locktite on the other 3 bolts and tightened them up tight. Do you think it will be alright to drive it with only 3 bolts holding it on? Because im going on a 1000km road trip this week and im pretty sure all the wreckers and stuff will be closed because of xmas.

Your best bet would be to stop by a wreckers, and pick yourself up four new bolts and a pulley. There's also a chance that you've damaged the pump bearing with all the vibration, but you should get away with just tightening it all up

If not, take a bolt into any automotive parts store, and they should be able to hook you up with replacements

Well i drove it all day today and the pump still fine luckily because its not very old. I just gota hope the wreckers are open this week. I just thought they might be closed because of xmas. If i cant get one i guess i will just have to drive 1000km with only few bolts. the locktite should hold it alright anyway i guess.

It might be worth trying an engineering shop, I know that my local one is open today because I was just down there.

The larger one to the direct left of the idler pulley (top left hand side if you are facing the engine)
