You have two options. If the cable is not broken or disconnected and is just stretched try leaning on the bonnet and pushing down on it while someone is pulling on the leaver. If the first method doesn't work, get underneath the center of your car at the front and look up, you will see the bonnet pin, this pin has a slit in it. Put a flat head screwdriver into the slit and undo the pin, once the pin has been undone the bonnet should open.

i had this problem, if you have a second person around, like mentinoed above get them to pucsh down on the bonnet while you pull the latch, or if no one else is around, hold the latch open and give your bonnet a good smack with a closed fist, very ghetto but it works

Why give false information. The pin is above the radiator. you can not see it from under the car. Im going crazy, bonnet cable snapped. Will not open

you can see it, look up through the bumper, in front of the radiator/condenser, undoing it with a screw driver will most likely be difficult due to the lock nut and it probably hasn't been moved in 20 years.

now if the pin was above the radiator you'd have a hole in it when you closed the bonnet.

another way that is a bit awkward is to get a screw driver in behind and push the latch, this method is fairly difficult due to the design to stop ppl from doing it.
