    Default ruff starts

    Hey Guys,

As of late when i am starting the car up its a bit ruff, Sounds like its got a top fueler cam, if you give it a bit of rev its still missing so i generaly let the car sit for its usual 1-2minutes to warm up and its all fine and drives like a dream.

Also the engine light on the dash does show up and that dissapears once the ruffness goes away, it does dissapear after 5-15seconds.

Any advice or things i can look over, Coolant is still nice and high, Oils are great, Plugs & Leads could do with a new set, Air Filter brand spanka!
Nothing in my fuel system has been changed in the 5years ive had the car also.

    Thanks!

i would start at plugs and leads ....then fuel filtre and maybe coolent temperature sensor as thats what mine was doing...also give it a diagnosis to tell if there are any errors (codes)

What type of leads/plugs are people running here?

Ive got topgun leads on a set of gm plugs, Ive seen NGK's but would Iridiums be good for the VN?

tog gun and GM are pretty good.
doubt its that, unless they are older than 4 yrs.

Im running eagles, but had topgun on the VN.

Everyone was ravin about eagles, personally I think the top gun 8mm spiral where a much better lead and better build quality too.

I just replace my pluggs, when I pulled em out they were GM but I put NGK in and didn't notice any difference between the old GM and the new NGK.

    cheers

QLD Ignition Leads, best thing you'll ever lay your hands on.
