    Question VN Keys!

    Hey guys, this is my first post but i got a bit of a problem and myabe someone can help me.... just picked up a VN and i went to go get a couple of copies of the key (just incase i lock the f*&ker in there!) and i got a quote for $38! is this about right for a key that doesent need programming and all that jazz? or is this bastard rippin me off?

    first up welocome

    second was that for 2 or one keys? if its for 2 then id say its average /abit expensive but if it was for one only then id keep looking

    nah that was just for one! i thought it sounded a bit odd...... i havent had a chance to look around due to christmas and all that so i might have a look around tommorow!

    is it a key key or a fob remote?

    a key shouldn't be that much, just go to a key dude and get it done. from memory, i got it done for about 10 bucks, and i thought that was a bit steep :S

    LMAO, you think you're getting taken for a ride - I had a bloke quote me $75 for the key. JUST THE KEY. I don't even HAVE a remote attached to mine

    $8.00 key cut days are just about gone I'd say. $30 odd now in SA

    a key for my vs is 100$ i got quoted? is that normal LOL **** thatcauyse it has the unlock and lock shiz on it

    yer about 90-110, you have to have it programed..
    i wrote a whole thing about it in the general section regarding all holden remotes

    $100 is normal for a VS key.

    for the vn got quoted $42 at westfields miranda
    just before christmas also.


    In november i had to buy a new boot
    lock .....


    lock came with 2 keys and cost $55

    yer and now you have to use a different key for the boot.. i heard mentello holden charge like $160 for remotes haha dont go there
