sounds like a sweet idea, i still gotta get a spare instrument cluster to rip apart, i was gonna see if i could strip the black and green off the plastic bits, because i think they are clear, with the green and black sprayed over. then just replace the globes.

Well i suppose if you can get diffrent coloured bulbs all you need to do is change them, and the glow should be different.

Dudes head down to Supercheap they supply coloured bulbs or covers which slip over white globes.

That... or if you want to be a cheap c*** get some super bright leds & use coloured celefain** at the back of the area's you want to colour... (Relate back to the issue in the custom dash thread about clear paper) :P Thats my idea if you cant find the globes

why go to supercheap, i work at autobarn. and most supercheap staff know stuff all. and about the superbright leds, you can buy them in different colours anyway.

    Default Blue Dash Lights

I Put in a set of blue LED's in my dash. Turned out ok but couldn't see the needles that good and the red didn't show too well. I ended up taking them out again. It is a VR dash but the colours should be pretty similar i would think.

well, i picked up a spare cluster from the wreckers fr $40. not sure wat its out of, but it has i think 3 globes for the guages. oh, and its a green plastic, so there will always be a slight green tinge in there.

    Default Globes

It took four globes the same size as ur parkers. Takes all of five minutes on a vr dash. U can also get some to change the colour of ur vent controls and the gears next to the shifter. They take pretty small globes but it can be done. All the globes i used were blue neons (no sleeves). Have Fun
