    Default rear speakers

    g'day ive been asked to put a cd player in a vn, it doesnt have rear spekers what im wondering did they still run wires for speakers or will i just have to run them to the parcel shelf myself any help would be appreciated

    nope you have to run the wires yourself i did the same back seat and parcel shelf has to come out

    I ran mine from the speakers down the passenger side of the car under the plastic strip that you can move around. Nicely hidden but easy to access.

    Whilst your installing the rear speakers and your hiding wires install a sub, kill 2 birds with 1 stone

    fyi in my vp exec (ie no rear speakers), the (rear) speaker wiring from the radio finishes in a connector in the drivers footwell. the wiring loom that goes to the rear of the car (lights etc) does not have any speaker wiring.
