Exclamation HORN HELP NEEDED!!! oh and lights too!!

hi everyone...im new here! i have a few problems with my 92 commy
    ok heres the story,
I bought a Vs steering wheel for my vp (lexcen), when i took off the original wheel, the earth or wire that sticks thru sent the horn off. now when i put the new wheel on, the horn hasnt worked. so i replaced the wheels again, and still the horn wont go. while i was changing the wheel, i popped the indocator stalk off and all the copper stuff came out, i put it back together and tried the indicators, and it shorted the car....eg, the dash lights clicked everytime the indicators are meant to go off. I then put it back together properly, the indicators worked, but now the high beam and low beam lights dont work. the rear lamps light up but the headlamps dont. ive replaced the relays for the horn, hi beam and low beam under the bonnet. but no luck.
please send suggestions and also tell me where the horn and headlights fuses are if the relays arent the only ones!
    thanks people!

yep there are wedge fuses (20A each) in the under-bonnet fuse box for high/low headlights there too... the high and low are on separate circuits. pete
