Why not just go buy some fabric and do a new one?

Why buy second hand roof lining thats just going to sag as well? Its already atleast 10 years old, so its probably not going to last much longer... Its not just VN's that do it, its VN, VP, VR, VS. In fact my VS did it worse than my VN until I fixed it.

Will a vs parcel shelf fit straight into a vn? Reason being i have found tons of good quality vs parcel shelter but not many vn ones.

Nah the VS parcel shelf is slightly different. The parcel shelf dips down in the VS, lower than the metal does in the VN. It is quite possible but not a straight drop in. Just have a fiddle with one. Also, you have the seatbelt hole in the parcel shelf.

But with the seat belt if i take that from a vs will that in straight in? Then i can have a vs parcel shelf and seatbelt. Would that work?

Well, the seatbelt doesnt really bother me, just after a quality VN/VQ parcel shelf, and a mate recommended i try a VS parcel shelf. If i can find one on the cheap ill try getting it to fit.

It would be possible just I think it would require an engineers certificate, because they wouldnt want everyone playing around with the seat belts in their backyards. Its only a guess though.

You could always make your own. Use your current parcel shelf as a template, grab some thick MDF and away you go... Some good material from an upholsterer or something as well. Can look much nicer, and be in your choice of colour and would be very cost effective.
