Air con not working VN

Hey Guys

Having a little issue with my VN's aircon im not sure if its just out of gas or something else is screwed but when the a/c button is pressed absolutley nothing happens compressor doesnt kick in at all idle just change nothing
If it was just out of gas wouldnt it kick over for a few then stop?

The have a pressure switch which will stop the compressor from cutting in if the gas is too low.
