Windscreen Wipers Not Working

I was just hiding the pipe for the windscreen washers (pipe has to run to other side of car for the VS bonnet) and so I removed the wipers, then put them back on.

When I tried them, they made a noise as though they could not move and they sort of shuddered so I took a look at the front and they were jammed together (I put the drivers side too low, so the passenger side jammed on it as they went to move).

Now they dont move at all, there is no reaction when I turn them on. I checked the fuse and the fuse is fine (same fuse for turning lamps which are also working).

Other than burning out the motor (better bloody not have), what else may it be? Is there a relay somewhere or something?

Motor or connections,could the wippers be swapped around?

Wipers arent on at the moment, i've got them off til it moves first.

Oh no. burnt out the motor. I dont recall a relay for the wipers. Just get the test light to see if you have power to the wipers. Have you tried to mover them by hand with the power on just incase it's stuck only.

yeah i have money on burnt out motors too... there pretty old and not real strong... Check to see if ou have power first though

I just checked the wiring and linkages, and everything is fine there then checked for power and there is power
