i got a set of blue top magna injectors.
does anybody know if they will make any difference
to performance.
nope.... not unless your making about 180 kilowatts at the wheels
they say so because they have a better spray pattern or somthing.
come to think of it when I pulled off the manifold an seen the f%ckin dodgy setup
in the VP i was quite suprised at how ancient it is.
The injectors just blow fuel down a big grubby hole.
Direct injection would have been the common sense choice, but i am guessing that holden was too
lame to do anything like that.
makes me wonder what kind of car I am driving.
BTW. why ask the question if you already have em...can't handle the suspense?
cheers
Gone Fishing...
stock injectors are 200cc/min and the blue tops are 237cc/min
i only like to do things once so i was hopeing some one on here has done it before
beside i have a custom twin throlte body manifold, so i was think along the lines of
my air need more fuel?
does anybody have a clue what willl happen if u put them in.
prob will notice a bit more go, but I think you will find that you might have to tweak the memcal abit as the bigger injectors will cause it to run a bit on the rich side
With going bigger injectors, the memcal will need a tweak.
Little bit bigger and it will run rich. Alot bigger and it won't run at all, just gets way too much fuel (my current problem)
Hot Lap Motorsport
if you fit them the car will be slower as it will be running rich badly.
you will need to get the memcal altered to suit them.
it wont make any more power using bigger injectors.
Rob
a mate of mine has the same manifold as mine and he is running 36lbs
L67 injectors, u dont notice it until it get high in the rev range. but it did
make a fairly noticealbe difference
